A Snow Day and a #LinkyParty #spalove

It’s my favorite day of the week!

Okay seriously, that’s just great advertising! Love the commercials!

Yesterday was a fun day in the Mamapoole household. We did our normal homeschooling routine. Learned about the days of the week, numbers 1-6 on a die, the letter B (how to write it and what words start with the “b” sound) sign language and had some fun with marble paint!

(It’s not too late to participate in the ZOOMA March Challenge! Click here for more info!)

Then we played outside in the white stuff. Here are my thoughts on winter…

I love winter. I like going to the ski resorts, I like looking out my window and seeing the white beauty everywhere but on the flip side

I like ski resorts because they have a lodge with liquor and I like seeing the beauty from my house because we have heat. I don’t actually enjoy being in the snow. Maybe I really don’t love winter at all.

Hubby on the other hand, is quite adventurous and a little kid himself. He LOVES the snow and coaxed me into going sledding with him. (Which is actually a big fear of mine. Once you land inside a trashcan from sledding, there’s no going back. wink. wink.)

So I did what any good wife would do and went.

To my surprise, we had a ball of fun.

I suppose the snow isn’t really that bad. But I’m still looking forward to some warmth on my face soon. How about you?

It also means that I didn’t run yesterday. Two days behind is not good. I am set for running hills tonight with the Charm City training group. That should put some miles on my legs! I would be lost with them. ;)

Last weeks #LinkyParty was AMAZING. I had so much fun looking through all the posts, commenting and sharing on my FB. Are you ready to do it again?

Woohoo–I made it to the favorites! Thanks for hosting this linkup!

Your snowplay sounds fun! I wish it had snowed enough in the mountains for us to have driven there for some snowplay, but sadly, the drought we’re having hasn’t left the ski resorts with much.
